Veils of Cirrus - The Shirtfront Black
Introducing the Shirtfront in the Black colourway. This garment is a re-creation of an American mens 'dickey' (or detachable tuxedo front) from 1839, sourced from the Met Museum archives.
The Shirtfront is constructed from a locally sourced deadstock rayon taffeta - a breathable regenerated wood pulp fibre that has a silk-like crisp hand. It is lined with a soft cotton voile and finished with a silver buckle halter neck closure; a silver toggle closure at the chest to keep the bust comfortably contained; and a simple tie at the back of the waist.
FABRIC COMPOSITION:
Main: rayon taffeta (sourced from local deadstock supplier)

Alternate 1 (ruff panels): cotton poplin
Fastenings: silver metal buckle and silver toggle/bar clasp
CARE INSTRUCTIONS:
